About
Rumah Terbuka Melaka "media raikan" is choosen basically because of the project's requirement itself where it needs the students to collaborate and work with the professionals. This concept is also picked in order to help promote the state of Melaka and also to attract citizen to visit states in Malaysia. Automatically this concept will help the tourism sectors in Malaysia.

In order to attract people to come to the rumah terbuka, the event will be held two days om the second week of Syawal (25th and 26th September 2010). The students and the media will be promoting 12 different tourism sub-sector in Melaka to the society.

Booth selling Malay foods during Eid celebration will also be provided in order to give the feeling of Eid celebration among the visitors. The unique and delicious taste of the food variation is expected to be one of the major attractions of the event.

In a nutshell, Rumah Terbuka Melaka "media raikan" is organized not only to promote the 12 tourism sub-sector in Melaka besides celebrating  Aidilfitri, it is also organized to show the responsibility of the Melaka state and other sponsors towards the country apart from getting together all races in Melaka under 1 roof.

Secara amnya, semasa majlis berlangsung terdapat 12 lorong atau street yang mewakili 12 sub-sektor pelancongan yang terdapat di negeri Melaka. Setiap satu lorong akan mewakili 1 sub-sektor pelancongan. Terdapat 12 buah organisasi media yang akan mewakili 12 lorong or street yang disediakan.

Contohnya: Bagi sub-sektor pelancongan Makanan, akan diwakili oleh kedai-kedai, restoran-restoran serta hotel-hotel yang terdapat disekitar melaka. Media yang akan mewakili street ini adalah "Jalan-Jalan Cari Makan - TV3".
